Lane Avenue & Moorside Community Allotments is a welcoming, community-run site in Walsall, just a stone’s throw from Junction 10 of the M6 and Reedswood Park.
Managed by a volunteer committee with input from plot holders, the allotment is open to everyone and celebrates inclusivity, community spirit, and shared learning. The site is rich in wildlife — including badgers, foxes, bats, frogs, toads, and even our own newt pond — and we regularly hold community and working days where everyone is friendly and happy to help.

We occasionally have plots become available at Lane Avenue & Moorside Community Allotments. There is currently a small waiting list, but vacancies do arise throughout the year.
Our allotment is a great space for individuals and families alike — whether you’re looking to grow your own food, spend quality time outdoors with children, or simply enjoy being part of a supportive local community. Growers of all experience levels are welcome, and there’s always someone nearby happy to offer advice or a helping hand.

Community
We regularly hold community days, working sessions, and social events throughout the year, bringing plot holders, families, and friends together. These events are a great way to meet others, share knowledge, and enjoy the social side of allotment life.
